Q7 Cyclocross team seeks Lisa Deshano
Q7 is hopeful to land Lisa D for next years roster. In addition to her prowress in the mud, she is one badass alpha dog rider. Lisa (top of pile) has proved to be a lost soul sister for current Q7 rider Wandooly (bottom of pile). Who wouldn't want to ride with us with these two on board? C'mon girl!!

Jingle Cross Rock Withdrawal
Those of you who were there know exactly what I am talking about. Minus the derailer carnage (approx 25 destroyed) on the first night, 3 days of Cyclocross heaven with great friends and no worries. Did I mention the MUD?!? Congrats to the unofficial king and queen (and cyclocross Gods) of the event Kevin and Brit Mcconnell!! Reality hit hard this a.m. Alas my cup of youth nectar is empty. Next season...

Cyclocross season coming to a peak at the JingleCross
Q7 riders are anxiously awaiting the 3 day tour of pain that is the Jingle Cross which begins this weekend in Iowa City. Last year there was plenty of blood, mud and even some fresh pow on Sunday. Q7 friend Geoff P from Geoff's bike and ski still has the scars from his crash followed by a steamrolling by another competitor. There was plenty of beer along the course and the Pro -riders put on a hell of a show. Hope to see you there. Ciao.

State Cross and Devil's Cross
Congrats to Q7 Rider Wandooly who continued her podium run (2nd) Sat in Altoona at the state cross despite a nasty crash which bent her saddle. Thanks to Kevin Mcconnell who came to her aide with mechanical expertise which ended up with him taking a few whacks to her post. She bumped up a Cat on Sunday at the Devil's Cross in Bettendorf with a strong finish despite a nasty cold.

Team Q7 brings home the hardware...
Team Q7 Women have always been known to kick some ass, but enough with the bedroom stories. Wandooly recently dissected out a cyclocross bike from her RAGBRAI rig that Nick claims has an identity problem (she doesn't know if she is a long haul beer swigging tourer, burley tugging kid commuter, or cyclocross racer). Nonetheless Wandooly's faithful aluminum steed carried her to two podiums at the Capital City Cross, Late Sept in DSM. Strong work indeed...

Team Q7 Update
This weekend Team Q7 members T Burvee aka Burvalicious and Jody Gorsch / Woo!! will harness their fat tires to attack Chequamegon in Northern Wisconsin. Women's member Wandooly continues her gravel training gearing up for the cyclocross season, while T Berg focuses his attention on the grueling single speed tailgating season. Tater salad was strong as always last month at the oval...

2008 Jingle Cross Rock
Fearless glutton and Q7 team member Andy braved the November chill for the 2008 Jingle Cross. The two days were dominated by slick conditions (requiring less air pressure), lung incinerating cold air and a quad pounding bluff - not to mention a shitload of snow overnight for day 2 of racing. Andy and the Q7 crew joined the rest of the riders for hard earned beers and provisions at Sam's in Iowa City prior to the Sunday event. Congrats to Andy and all who participated. We'll be back in greater #'s next year...
